Our Lodge, the very first local operated and owned in town, open its doors for the first time and after years of preparation in May 2023,  strategically situated just a few steps away from a plethora of landmarks and restaurants, making it the ideal hub for your fishing adventure. If you’re seeking an affordable, hassle-free, and all-encompassing fishing experience, our dedicated crew is here to ensure your worries melt away. Allow us, as done the past 20 years to handle all your ground logistics, provide delicious breakfasts and lunches, and orchestrate seamless fishing days, allowing you to fully savor the rich fishery our destination offers, whether you’re an experienced angler or a novice.

Getting here is a breeze – a quick flight of less than two hours via United Airlines from Houston to Merida (MID), with alternative routes through Miami or Dallas with American Airlines and newly added from Atlanta with Delta also landing direct into Merida. Once you´ve landed, our drivers will whisk you away on a calm and smooth 1 hour and 50-minute journey along a four-lane freeway, bringing you straight to our Lodge, where you’ll be ready to embark on your fishing adventure the very next morning.

    • Thanks everyone who had texted or called Thanks for your concern but our area is as safe as it’s been forever. Other regions had hard time yesterday but seems it’s settling down. So much information always carries the risk of distortion. MEXICO IS NOT IN WAR. Cartels where showing the muscle shutting down some access to cities and public forces tried to stop them. Somehow it started shootings but not a war itself. No civilians threatening. Media does its own job. Our main concerns are coldfront storms that put the fish down.
    • Just before another coldfront storm hits the bay, George and wife had an incredible couple of days with guide Juan. Time for a Mayan tour tomorrow. Gusts of 40 knots blowing now. #tarpontown #campeche #flyfishing #tarpontownanglers #tarponfishing
    • Another trip for Jim, Bryan, David and Brett. This time under tough conditions as water remains cold from an unusual winter with many coldfront storms one after the other. Almost got hit five times the first 6 weeks of the year. However, guides enthusiasm got them into some action.
